About us

We are a busy family living in the city - two working parents, two young kids, and no big backyard. Like many families, our days are filled with work, school, groceries, laundry, and all the ordinary chaos of family life. We don’t always have lots of time or energy for big adventures. But we want our kids to grow up with more than screens and city life.

We want them to experience the freedom of being outside - splashing in lakes, exploring forests, camping under the stars, getting a little muddy, and discovering new places together. So whenever we can, we head out. Sometimes it’s a quick escape close to home. And sometimes it’s a bigger road trip or family adventure.

Beeboo and Beyond is our way of sharing what we experience and what we learn along the way - from finding family-friendly places and making outdoor adventures work with young children to managing the practical challenges of getting outside as two working parents.
